Originality first
Our games, puzzle structures, descriptions, and curated collections are developed for PunWorks. Familiar idioms and classic public wordplay may appear when context requires them, but we avoid copying another publisher’s distinctive collections, commentary, or presentation.
Useful organization
Pun Library pages are organized around real visitor needs, such as cards, captions, classrooms, parties, and everyday conversation. We prefer a smaller, reviewed collection over hundreds of repetitive or barely different entries.
Human review
Content may be supported by digital tools during brainstorming, editing, coding, or illustration production. Before publication, we review it for clarity, duplication, factual claims, usability, tone, and fit with the PunWorks style. The PunWorks team remains responsible for what appears on the site.
Games and fairness
Game clues and answer choices should have a defensible solution. We test new mechanics for readability, mobile use, accessibility, and reasonable difficulty. When a visual clue or answer is confusing, we treat that as a content problem to correct—not as the player’s fault.
Family and child-directed content
Little PunWorks is held to a gentler standard. We avoid frightening, sexual, discriminatory, or needlessly aggressive material; use forgiving play patterns; and keep personal-information requests out of child-directed games. General PunWorks content is intended to remain broadly family-friendly.
Accuracy and claims
We avoid unsupported superlatives and do not present opinion as fact. For legal, privacy, advertising, or technical standards, we consult relevant primary or official sources and update pages when requirements or the product change.
Corrections
If a joke is unclear, a page contains a mistake, an illustration is misleading, or a source deserves acknowledgment, contact hello@punworks.com. We review credible reports and make corrections directly rather than silently multiplying the error across new pages.
Commercial independence
Future advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, or commercial partnerships will not determine game answers or permit undisclosed control over editorial content. Material commercial relationships will be disclosed where relevant.
